Hello Band Families,
PVHS band students have been given one of the best opportunities we have ever had to raise money for their individual band accounts, and we don't want you to miss out! Students, family, and friends 13+ years old can work concessions at the National Western Stock Show and earn $11 an hour. The shifts are 5 hours long with a lunch break, and you still get paid for 5 hours' work (you can also sign up to work two shifts in a day). They give you a $12.50 lunch voucher, and parking is free.
The money really adds up if you take your family with you. Two parents/guardians, the band student, and a sibling or friend will earn $220 for one shift. That's more than half the fee for marching band, winterguard, or winter percussion! Check out the sign up below for remaining available dates:
Directions: Parking lot F at the corner of Franklin St. and 58th Ave. is free. There is a shuttle that runs every 15 minutes to the main National Western Complex building.
Walk into the main building (by the ticket booth areas) let them know you are working for KM concessions, and they will let you through. Go to the northeast corner of the building, and take the stairs or elevator to the 3rd floor. On the 3rd floor turn right, head until you see a concessions stand on your right-hand side with pipe and drape. Head through the drape and the office is straight ahead. The office line is 303-294-1232 if you get lost. They will give you a polo when you get there.
